This guide will show you how to get started with the Panmote application
Panmote Companion
In order to utilize Panmote, you need to have the Windows companion application installed. It acts as a bridge between Pandora running on your computer via Chrome or Internet Explorer and the Panmote application running on your Android device.
- Download the companion application to the laptop/desktop that will run Pandora via Chrome or Internet Explorer: http://www.jonathankieliszak.com/panmote/
- Make sure your firewall is setup to allow ports 9520-9521 that are used for communication between Panmote and the companion application.
- Run the companion application and ensure that it is able to communicate with Pandora successfully (i.e., it should display the currently playing song).
Panmote
- Add a new connection via the "Select Server" screen. You can manually add a connection if you know the URL or IP address. If you are on a WIFI network, you can search for other computers that are running the companion application.
- Begin controlling Pandora remotely.
